As breeders and lovers of the American Pitbull Terrier we strive to promote the highest standards imaginable in our pets.

We keep accurate records, and retain those records to keep track of where and with whom our dogs are placed. These records include but are not limited to: stud service contracts, pedigrees, all litters produced and all dogs/puppies sold. I use the "Breeder's Records" that the UKC provides to me.

We plan each and every breeding with every intention of improving the breed. I select my studs and bitches based on the following: conformation, temperament, working instinct, and ability. We do not breed any male or female until they are both physically and mentally mature. Before entering a stud or breed contract we will scrutinize the pedigree, conformation, temperament, and working potential of both the sire and dam, keeping in mind the breed standards. I have every obligation to refuse the breeding or sale of any dogs/puppies if in my opinion it is not in the best interest of the breed or dog. If I refuse the sale or breeding of any dogs I will explain my reasons for doing so. I will not breed any dogs with vicious or shy temperaments, or dogs with serious defects. I will encourage the buyers of pet quality pups to have them spayed or neutered.

We maintain high standards of health and care for my dogs, and guarantee the health of my puppies at the time of sale.

SALES

We will be discriminating in the sale of our puppies, and concerned with the type of homes in which they are placed. My dogs/puppies will not be sold to dog wholesalers or retailers. Puppies must be picked up by 10 weeks of age or they will be put back up for sale.

I will transfer all registration papers at the time the purchase agreement is completed and it is agreeable to both parties. Upon the sale of a dog/puppy, I will provide the buyer with a properly executed UKC REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, diet record, inoculation and parasite control record, and a health guarantee.

I will not release any of my puppies until they are atleast 7 weeks old or 8 weeks old if the puppy is to be shipped.

The buyer has 48 hours to get a vet exam after receiving the puppy excluding weekends and holidays. If in this time frame the puppy is found to have an incurable genetic disorder, puppy and registration papers must be returned to the seller within 48 hours of such findings at buyer's expense. More time may be allowed if shipping required. Buyer's vet report detailing such findings will be faxed to seller by vet if applicable, within 48 hours. Upon concurrence of such findings by the seller's vet, a replacement puppy of equal value will be given when one is available. Refusal of such puppy by buyer ends all obligations seller has to buyer.

If puppy should die before reaching 12 months of age (1 year), a necropsy shall be performed to determine the exact cause of death at buyer's cost. Buyer's veterinarian shall send the results in writing to the seller along with the scanned microchip number if applicable. The seller is to be notified within 24 hours of the death of your dog. If it is determined by both buyer and sellers veterinarian's that condition was present in the dog before it left the seller, the puppy will be replaced with a puppy of equal value when one becomes available. Refusal of such puppy by buyer ends all obligations seller has to buyer.

If illness occurs, dog is to receive immediate veterinarian care and all prescribed treatment is to be followed with the following exception. If dog is stated by buyer's vet to be untreatable, the buyer will get a second opinion. If the second vet agrees with the prognosis, the buyer must talk to the seller on the phone before any action is taken. Names and phone numbers of both vets will be provided to the seller. If requested by the seller, the buyer agrees to return the dog to the seller within 48 hours of such request along with the registration papers signing ownership back to the seller. Upon concurrence of such findings by the seller's vet, a replacement puppy of equal value will be given when one is available. If buyer's vet does not concur with the findings of seller's vet, ownership of the dog will be retained by the seller and all obligations to the buyer by the seller will end.

Puppy is purchased to be a loving companion solely for the buyer listed below. Should puppy be transferred to another owner by the buyer , this contract is immediately null and void. Buyer agrees to house the puppy freely inside the buyer's home. Puppy is not guaranteed for breeding, showing, color nor size. Registration papers are guaranteed at time of sale only. The seller is not responsible for any veterinarian costs incurred by the dog
